The street carnival of Boi Pintadinho is considered the most folkloric in the state of Espírito Santo, it has been happening in the municipality for more than 70 years. The Boi Pintadinho is an important folkloric manifestation of the municipality of Muqui. There are several groups of bull in the city, each with its own name and characteristics.
This cultural manifestation happens in the carnival programming. During the four days of presentations, the folk groups, among them, children and adults, in a spectacle of sound and color, parade through the main street of the city called during the event “Corridor of the Boiada” following the rhythm of its batteries, exploring the rituals and popular customs.
